The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) continues to gain momentum as a standard of choice for decision-makers to judge work readiness of specific locations targeted for commercial investment and job growth. NCRC is now one of six criteria in a new state-by-state comparison called Rankings that Matter. Published recently by Site Selection magazine, the scores include the overall rank of each state on NCRCs and the volume of NCRCs in that state as of October 2013.
The digital edition of the magazine is available free online. Starting on page 74 of the special 60th Anniversary issue, the report examines the rankings for each state. The list below is ordered by volume and linked back to the state’s profile page of NCRC trends specific to that state and its individual counties. This national website is part of the Certified Work Ready Communities (CWRC) initiative, which differentiates locations with a more competitive workforce.
